Hosting a Training Thru Trust Event is fun and exciting!
After many years of organizing our own events, we are able to provide a specific plan and list of responsibilities to help make it easier for you. Like any kind of event it will require your time, dedication and a solid understanding of your role as the organizer to ensure the event will be successful and rewarding for you and your participants.
Hosting a Clinic Get a minimum of 12 paying participants and you go in for free! The following plan and responsibilities will be assumed by the organizer upon booking a clinic with us. Please read carefully to best understand everything you will be required to do as the Clinic Organizer.
Each Organizer will be responsible for advertising in order to attract enough participants to fill the clinic. Minimum 12 participants. This can be done by:
Distributing/posting clinic posters at local tack stores, feed stores, fair grounds, or other locations where you would expect to find horse enthusiasts. You will find our clinic poster at the bottom of this page, ready to download and print for distribution
Post ads on local sites and/or social networking
Please do not send an email or make a post without confirming with Doug by email first
Book facility (Training thru Trust will pay facility rental )
Arrange for 2 round pens to be set up side by side
Oversee manure removal of facility
Setup / Other
Provide coffee and snacks (will be refunded for money spent)
Lunch for participants is optional
Organize Saturday night dinner reservation or potluck
Provide tables for registration and merchandise
Assist in merchandise sales and promotions
Collect spectator fee, and emails
Print off Clinic Itinerary for participants
Collect deposits & balances (encourage participants to go through website)
Print release forms
Print payment sheet and fill out participants name and payment
Encourage participants to print registration forms
Please have coffee on and be ready for registration by 8:30 am
