              Horsemanship Clinics

              Come join Doug Mills at one of his exciting and reputable clinics that include three days of instruction, coaching and horse psychology. Doug's clinics will help to build confidence, understanding and respect in both horse and owner. Doug covers a variety of topics including:
              • How to work your horse in the round pen without adding stress or injury 
              • Learn how to stop horses from disrespectful and dangerous behaviour 
              • Safely turn an aggressive and disrespectful horse into a willing partner
              • Establish and maintain leadership
              • Enhance your feel, timing and coordination which are essential for good horsemanship and communication
              • Learn horse psychology to enhance your ability to read and understand horses
              • Teach your horse to yield his face from a light command, preparing him for collection when riding
              • Teach your horse to yield his hips then shoulders to a light command, preparing him for softness when riding
              • Learn techniques to discipline your horse without adding fear or resentment
              • Introduce your horse to fearful objects such as trailers, water, tarps or bridges and learn how to help them overcome their fear
              • Learn how to have your horse softly steer from your eyes
              • Teach your horse how to plug into the energy from your seat
              Doug's proven method of " Training Thru Trust" is available on a set of four DVDS (course 1-4) and throughout his clinics, Doug covers the lessons of each course.

              Adult Horsemanship Camp
              May 28-June 1, 2012
              This camp is intended for riders ages 18 and older, of any skill level and any discipline. If you would like to  learn horse psychology and learn how, through understanding how a horse thinks, you can develop the most amazing partnership between you and your horse. This camp is a great start! Doug will spend the week coaching you through his Training Thru Trust program. 
              Accommodations are limited so book early if you are needing a room, we also alow, tents and trailers, price includes your meals as well as your horses board, we also have horses available for you to use.
